Jim Rome On SHOWTIME With Correspondent Erin Sharoni Hits The Ground Running

Jim Rome on Showtime

If you can’t play the game, then you got to talk about the game.

Those are the words from colorful talk show host, Jim Rome, who definitely likes to do his fair share of talking.

A week ago today, Jim Rome on SHOWTIME finally premiered, with Rome displaying his usually trademark style and opinions during the one hour sports and entertainment series.

During the first episode, he was joined by the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers, NBC’s Go On star Matthew Perry and Mandalay Entertainment CEO Peter Guber — Guber is also co-owner of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors and MLB’s Los Angeles Dodgers.

According to a press release from SHOWTIME, “the weekly episodes will feature a combination of provocative monologues and interviews, along with in-depth features and profiles of relevant and influential figures in the world of sports and entertainment.”

Jim Rome On SHOWTIME is part of Rome’s multi-year deal with CBS Sports, which he signed at the end of September. He’s joined by correspondent Erin Sharoni, who also co-hosts CNBCSportsBiz, a weekly sports show on the NBC Sports Network.
