We prepare for each season by blocking out our Sundays and dutifully pouring hours into our Fantasy Football rosters. And with this great passion comes a strong group of the most marketable NFL players.

It’s no wonder some of our favorite football players grace the television during nearly every commercial break in and off season. Not only can these guys run, catch and throw, they can also sell products. NFL stars are some of the most marketable celebrities on the planet. Many of these titans of the gridiron have a knack for comedy. Put world-class athletes in unusual situations and hilarity ensues.

As you get ready for the upcoming season, prepare for some commercial face time with these beloved football stars.

Five Most Marketable NFL Players:

Peyton ManningPeyton Manning

Forget athlete, this future Hall of Famer is one of the most marketable celebrities, period. Manning earned $12 million from endorsements in 2012, according to Forbes.com.

The affable Broncos quarterback is known for his sharp humor. In a classic Mastercard ad, Manning cheers on everyday professionals like he’s their biggest fan. (“That’s OK, Wendy. You’re still the man!”)

Manning’s current endorsement deals include Reebok, Gatorade, Buick and Papa John’s.

Aaron RodgersAaron Rodgers

After winning the Super Bowl and NFL MVP two years ago, Aaron Rodgers’ success spilled off the field and into the world of advertising. His most prominent campaign with State Farm turned Rodgers’ signature touchdown celebration into an insurance.

Now, whenever we see Rodgers mimic wearing a championship boxing belt, we can’t help but think of State Farm’s discount double check. Forbes reports that the Green Bay Packer Quarterback made $6 million in endorsements last year. His largest deals are with State Farm and Pizza Hut.

Adrian PetersonAdrian Peterson

Quarterbacks get most of the attention, but after returning from a devastating knee injury to win MVP in 2012, Minnesota Vikings’s running back Adrian Peterson’s marketability is at an all-time high.

Peterson has existing deals with Nike, Verizon and Castrol Edge. He recently signed a deal with EpiPen auto injectors after he used one if products to treat an allergic reaction.

Even Peterson knows his celebrity status is about to grow. And it’s going to grow exponentially as he continues to dominate on and off of the gridiron.

Robert Griffin IIIRobert Griffin III

When businesses look for an athlete to represent their brand, they are usually looking for someone exciting, well-spoken and generally revered. In other words, they’re looking for Robert Griffin III.

The 2012 Offensive Rookie of the Year is coming off knee surgery, but that hasn’t slowed his stride in the business world. Griffin III has worked with Adidas, Subway, Nissan, Gatorade and Castrol Motor Oil, among others.

This young star will grace our commercials, billboards and magazines for years to come.

Drew BreesDrew Brees

The Saints franchise may still be reeling from the Bountygate scandal that rocked the NFL, but quarterback Drew Brees is still one of the most likable guys in the league. Brees made $11 million from endorsements in 2012, more than any other football player.

Deals with Nike, Verizon, PepsiCo and Wrangler keep this all-pro quarterback busy when he’s not on the field.

For a long time, I overlooked how much a team’s appearance matters, until one incident in a retail store opened my eyes. A team in coordinated, thoughtfully designed apparel made a completely different impression — and this sense of unity was obvious. It wasn’t about the logos, but rather the way the clothing conveyed meaning and pride. After that incident, I started thinking: what employees wear everything—from mood to sales. There’s a famous quote by Paul Rand: “Design is the silent ambassador of your brand.” Uniforms are a perfect example of this ambassador: it speaks without words, but very loudly. Customers pick up on these signals: we judge a company by its employees instantly. However, the effect extends far beyond the storefront: the uniform can transform one’s attitude towards work. I’ve encountered situations where a single standard of appearance changed the team’s mindset. A sense of belonging to a common cause emerges, rather than just task-executors. This consistency and professionalism builds an invisible but powerful attitude that subtly pushes things forward. I am convinced: the right uniform can transform relationships https://www.mapleprimes.com/users/viliageuxj.
