Interview with Nu Image Protection Security Services

You would think a 250+ lb. athlete wouldn’t need protection of any kind. You would think they could pulverize any person with one punch and maybe that is true to a certain extent. However, they have other things on their minds…things like playbooks, training, and game strategies. They don’t have time to think about stalkers and other security threats that often follow pro ball players.

I recently had an enlightening phone conversation with Stepfan Williams, CEO of NU Image Protection Security Services. Stepfan’s knowledge and expertise in the protection and security industry raises the bar on personal security for the athlete. Michelle: How is Nu Image different than other choices an athlete might make for personal security?

Stepfan: We look at all aspects of our clients’ lives, not just the public appearances. For example: foods they like, favorite restaurants, their favorite barbershops. We took a strong look at the direct security needs of athletes and developed a security strategy that will help minimize threats.

Michelle: What steps do you put in place for preventative measures as opposed to simply reactionary measures?

Stepfan: We analyze the inner workings of our clients’ circle which would include personal, business, and family. We then discuss our findings with our client before putting the preventive measures in place. Once the client has been informed, we put a team together that will best fit the profile of our client.

Michelle:  How has your “strong small business roots and values” helped you grow and expand your security services in today’s market?

Stepfan: We believe in taking care of our client’s business needs as well as personal needs. We believe in going that extra mile to provide our clients with the BEST service. We guarantee our clients that both of our business partners will spend 80% of the first 90 days with that client to personally learn likes and dislikes and will stay directly involved with all of our clients day-to-day affairs.

Michelle:  Why do you feel your company is a trend setter in security and protection?

Stepfan: We actively study our industry as well as closely study the needs of sports athletes. We look for what needs they may have and we realize that often times sports athletes may get some negative press and not have anyone to speak on their behalf to the media. We have teamed up with several qualified publicists  so if something happens that gets to the media, which is most often the case, they are on call 24/7, 365 days a year to handle any crisis situation. We believe this is a crucial, preventive measure Nu Image has put in place to protect our clients, and it keeps us as trend setters in our industry.
