It’s no secret that Wasserman Media Group is one of the most world renown sports marketing and representation agencies.
Being held in the same category as Creative Artists Agency, IMG, and Octagon, Inc.
Wasserman is a global leader with expertise in media rights, consulting, partnership/business development, and athlete representation. The agency represents a bevy of athletes such as Pau Gasol (Los Angeles Lakers), Zach Johnson (PGA Tour), and Yu Darvish (Texas Rangers), to name a few.
Wasserman Athlete Representation
Once again, Wasserman is making its global presence known, but this time, it’s coming at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. WMG just signed its first Olympic gymnast and team USA member, Jordyn Wieber. With the signing, the 17-year-old Wieber becomes the 40th Wasserman client competing in London.
“Jordyn is an incredibly talented gymnast and has already made a huge impact on the sport in just a few short years,” said Dan Levy, Vice President of Wasserman’s Action Sports and Olympics Division. “We are proud to add her to our Olympic client roster and look forward to helping her with what we know will continue to be an amazing career.”
