Mass Relevance CEO Discusses Sports’ Social Media Takeover

As a fan and someone who would like a career in Sports and Social Media Marketing, I think that increased use of Social Media by Teams, Players, and Organizations is wonderful. As ┬áDecker said, it’s no longer just In-Arena promotions that are allowing fans to shine but fans worldwide can get to appreciate the same interactivity. For example, a significant percent of Chinese residents get to connect with their favorite European Football League Teams and Players via Social Media. Without Social Media, these fans would be more limited in the amount of interaction they would have with their favorite Euro League favorites and many might never become fans to begin with.
