Top Sports Apps for Android

If you are browsing Sports Networker, that means you are well on your way to the top of your game. In that case, I probably don’t have to mention ESPN ScoreCenter or ScoreMobile on my list. You downloaded those apps as soon as you powered up your phone for the first time. Or if you didn’t, I’ll look the other way while you download them now. The pair nearly lapped the field in download counts on the more than 20 sites I surveyed. There are a ton of iPhone Sports Apps reviews out there, but not a ton for the Android market. Check out my list of sports apps that you need to download to your Android:

UFC TV
Sports Apps

When there’s a fight, one thing’s on a fan’s mind. Not eating, sleeping, work or other day-to-days. Everything else takes second place. Occasionally, though, life gets in the way. For those times and when you want to know the latest about your favorite fighter, UFC TV finds its way to your finger tips. Pay-per-view offers different camera angles and a video library. You can watch press conferences and weigh-ins and also receive all the latest news for free.

FOX Sports Mobile

Draft Punk

Sports Apps
This app boasts a name that promises to have you beating up on your competition. It will transform your fantasy football performance through detailed stats, news and profiles.

Last, it’s not surprising, given how particular and passionate golfers are about their sport that there are a bevy of golf apps out there. There are GPS tools, swing analyzers, video lessons and much more. Since I tend more toward a bucket of balls at the range rather than Bethpage Black, I’ll let the scratch golfers sort those apps out. If you find a radar device that magically locks that little white ball in line with the pin every time, let me know.

In today’s world, if you want an application for your smart phone, that means you literally want it at your finger tips. There’s plenty of ways to get sports information, but these apps give you what you want whenever you want it.

Do you have any other sports apps that you would recommend for the Android? Please leave your comments here or tweet us!
