He has also been invited to share his career advice at some of the world’s best colleges, including Stanford University and Johns Hopkins University.

During this interview we discussed:

  • How Pete broke into the sports industry at the young age of 21
  • How he was about to excel in his role by being proactive in his approach
  • Advice that he would give to others looking to break into the sports industry

    Great interview, Trevor!

Pete hit on something at the end about being humble & genuine about wanting to learn from others. When you do that in a live networking environment, you will come across as a very likable person.

And “Likability” is the #1 reason you’ll get hired. Assuming you can do the job, of course.

I look forward to reading Pete’s book.

@ChrisMcKinney Thanks Chris…..agreed…..networking without a “pitch” allows you to break down the awkwardness of meeting people for the first time.  If you don’t know what to say…..ask questions! 🙂

At this time it appears like Expression Engine is the top blogging platform out there right now.
(from what I’ve read) Is that what you’re using on your blog?
