By far, the most important thing for athletes is that they stay safe. And part of that definitely involves being careful when it comes to sing social media. I understand that not all athletes will use social media for that very reason, and that's ok. I just think (and I know you agree) that if you are going to use social media, you have to really care about doing it and connecting with your fans. Otherwise, it just won't work. I know it made their day, and it will only make them spread the message to everyone they know about how awesome Jimmy is to them.
